1. Membership & Registration
Membership is free and open to everyone. To register, bring a valid ID card or passport to the desk. Members under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
2. Borrowing Rules
- Members may borrow up to 5 items at a time.
- The standard loan period is 21 days.
- Up to 2 renewals are allowed if no reservation exists.
- Lost or damaged materials must be replaced or compensated.
- Reference materials, rare books, and periodicals are for in-library use only.
3. Behaviour
- Please maintain quiet in the reading rooms.
- Mobile phones must be on silent. Conversations should be taken outside.
- Food and drinks are not permitted in reading rooms (sealed water bottles are allowed).
- Children under 10 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
4. Computer & Digital Resource Use
- Library computers are on a first-come, first-served basis (max. 60 min.).
- The internet must be used for lawful purposes only.
- Printing is available at the desk (for a small fee).
5. Fines & Fees
Overdue materials incur a daily fine of 0.10 BGN per item. Fines must be paid before further borrowing.
